Terms of Service for REG.AC

Agreement to Terms: By accessing or using the Site (reg.ac and all its subdomains), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and fully agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
User Definition: Any individual, legal entity, or automated system (bot, scraper, scanner, AI agent) interacting with the Site in any manner.
Binding Agreement: This agreement applies to all users without exception. If the interface, functionality, or content of the Site does not meet your requirements or expectations, your sole and exclusive remedy is to immediately cease all use of the Site.

User Risk: You use the Site at your own risk. REG.AC is not the original source of the data (information is mirrored from public sources such as Google Maps and other directories) and does not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.
Limitation of Liability: REG.AC, its owners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business opportunities, or emotional distress.
Financial Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by Portuguese law, the total aggregate liability of REG.AC, its owners, and affiliates for any claims arising out of or related to the Site or paid subscriptions shall be strictly limited to the total amount actually paid by you to REG.AC during the two (2) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to liability.
Strict Claims Deadline: Any claims, disputes, or complaints brought by a User against REG.AC must be formally notified in writing within two (2) months of the occurrence of the alleged liability or event; otherwise, such liability and claims shall be deemed completely expired and time-barred.
Exclusive Remedy: If you are dissatisfied with the content or operation of the Site, your exclusive remedy is to immediately stop using the Site and, if applicable, remove your profile via the automated tool at delete.reg.ac.

As Is Basis: The Site is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
No Accessibility Guarantees: We do not guarantee compliance with specific accessibility standards (such as WCAG).
User Action: If the interface, translation quality, design, or technical parameters of the Site do not correspond to your needs, preferences, or health-related requirements, the only appropriate action is to immediately stop using the Site.

Continuous Subscription & Renewal: Certain features of REG.AC are offered on a continuous subscription basis (monthly or annual plans). By subscribing, you agree to pay the published fees, and your subscription will automatically renew for successive periods at the then-current rate unless you cancel it via your account dashboard before the start of the new billing cycle.
Finality of Sales & No Refunds: Because REG.AC provides instant digital access to software tools upon successful payment, all sales are final. Subscription fees are non-refundable, and no refunds or credits will be provided for partially used subscription periods, in strict accordance with our Refund Policy.
Account Credentials & Prohibited Sharing: Each paid login is intended for a single individual or entity and is strictly non-transferable. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. Sharing login details is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension or termination of your subscription without notice or refund.

AI-Generated Content & User Responsibility: REG.AC may offer AI-powered tools that automatically generate content, summaries, or metadata. AI outputs are produced automatically based on user inputs and third-party models, and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all AI-generated content prior to publication. AI services are provided "AS IS", and we assume no liability for any outcomes resulting from their use.
Prohibited AI Inputs: You agree not to input sensitive personal information, government identifiers, financial data, or health records into any AI tools provided on the Site.

No Compensation: REG.AC does not compensate Users or third parties for any expenses related to legal consultants, attorneys, notaries, or court fees.
Automated Removal Priority: The availability of free, instant, and 24/7 automated tools for data removal (delete.reg.ac) renders the involvement of paid legal intermediaries unnecessary and unreasonable. Any costs incurred by a User bypassing the automated removal systems are the sole personal responsibility of that User.

Burden of Proof: The burden of proving the fact, content, and date of communication lies solely with the User.
Legal Evidence: The only indisputable evidence of paper-based communication recognized by REG.AC is a receipt for a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt (Carta Registada com Aviso de Receção). For electronic communication, the server logs of REG.AC shall serve as the definitive record.

Bot Compliance: The use of any automated systems to scan, analyze, or interact with the Site is permitted only under the condition of full compliance with these Terms. REG.AC reserves the right to block any automated systems without prior notice if their activity creates an excessive load on the server or violates network stability.

Applicable Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal.
Jurisdiction: All disputes that cannot be resolved through automated data removal or peaceful negotiations shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal.

Updates: REG.AC reserves the right to update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Site after such changes constitutes your full acceptance of the new Terms.
